Caroline Popper, M.D., Senior Advisor - Regulatory Affairs
Dr. Popper is founder and President of Popper and Company, LLC, a bioscience consulting firm that guides emerging companies in the areas of commercialization strategy, technology assessment and partnering. Previously, she was Chief Business Officer at Toronto-based MDS Proteomics Inc., and held a variety of management positions during her nine-year tenure at Becton Dickinson & Co., including Vice President and General Manager, Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Planning, and Corporate Medical Director. Dr. Popper has extensive experience in diagnostics, including the development and introduction of novel diagnostic approaches. Trained as an internist and pathologist, Dr. Popper also served as an Attending Physician in the department of emergency medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital from 1988 to 2003.

Sanjeev Arora, M.D., FACP, Hepatitis C Advisory Board Chairperson
Dr. Arora is Executive Vice Chairman, Department of Internal Medicine, at University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center (UNMHSC). Since 2001, he has served as Principal Investigator for more than 17 clinical trials focused on ribaviran treatment for the chronic Hepatitis C virus (HCV).
